Investigations for gallstones

Special Investigation order in patients who are suspected to have Bile Duct stones or Gall Bladder Infection.

Specialized Endoscopic test performed in some patients.

Surgical Procedures

Safety in performing gallbladder surgery comes from employing safe and standardized surgical techniques. Safety is enhanced by use of fluorescence guidance when these procedures are performed at our centre.

Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder Removal Surgery)

Removal of gallbladder done through keyhole surgery

Laparoscopic Bile Duct Stone Removal

Laparoscopic bile duct stone removal. Traditionally removal of bile stones is done Endoscopy before surgery by adopting removal laparoscopic. There is advantage of performing gallbladder removal along with bladder stone removal under single anesthesia. This helps in avoiding a second anesthesia shortens hospital, stay patients experience, lesser pain, quicker recovery, and early discharge from hospital.

Single Incision Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Single incision laparoscopic surgery. This involves removal of gallbladder performed through single incision placed in the Naval region. This specialised technique reduces post-operative pain and gives an excellent cosmetic result. While safety remains. The priority selected patients would benefit from this procedure.

Robotic Cholecystectomy

Robotic cholecystectomy with advances in minimally invasive laparoscopic gallbladder removal. Surgery can be performed utilising robotic technology technology. It has all the advantages of minimal access. Surgery can be helpful, particularly in obese patients.
